Att. Lara Banu Eker completed her academic education at Bahcesehir University Faculty of Law and her high school education at Yesilkoy Anatolian High School and Adnan Menderes Anatolian High School, respectively. Ms. Eker, who took law courses in both Turkish and English during her academic education, has also worked in both domestic and international law firms in her business life. During her time working for the business partner of a consultancy company operating in the United States in Turkey, she gained experience mainly in the areas of Corporate-Commercial & Real Estate Law and published articles in Turkish and English. In addition, she gained experience in the areas of petition writing techniques, Commercial, Real Estate, Enforcement-Bankruptcy, Family and Criminal Law during her internship period under the supervision of the former president of the Istanbul Commercial Court. Following her studies here, Ms. Eker worked in a law firm that mainly provided Foreign Investments and Real Estate Law services. She also provided voluntary translator services on Women’s Rights and Human Rights and attended various conferences. She speaks English on advanced and Turkish on native.
